A three day 31st mega conference of Karnataka History Council will be held at JSS College from March 26 to 28,
Coordinator of Karnataka History Council and officer of JSS College finance wing Dr Ajit Prasad said.
The main objective of the conference is to provide an opportunity for discussions on historical developments of the state and also encourage youth researchers and students to take up study of history and undertake research. In addition to this, a platform will be provided to the researchers to table their research articles, he said.
It is anticipated that more than 100 researchers and others will present their new concepts and introduce them to the youth, he said.
Dr RM Shadaksharaiah, Dr RV Chitagubbi, IK Pattar, Mahaveera Upadhyaya, Sooraj Jain and others participated in the press meet.
