The Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre (MCCCC) of Kasturba Hospital, has been designated as a centre of excellence in supportive care in cancer by the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC). This prestigious recognition is a testament to MCCCC’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional cancer care to patients. This is the first designated Centre in Asia.
Dr HS Ballal is Pro Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, handed over the certificate to Dr Naveen S Salins, Associate Dean. Â KMC, Coordinator, MCCCC and Professor and Head of the Department of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care and said, we are honored to receive this recognition from MASCC. It is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our team is dedicated to advancing the science of supportive care in cancer and improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
