Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka joins Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘SK20’

We had earlier in February reported that Ukrainian actress Maria Riaboshapka has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Sivakarthikeyan in ‘SK 20’. Now, the makers of the film have officially announced that the young actress from Ukraine will be playing the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan in upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual with director Anudeep, which in tentatively called ‘SK20’.
Actor Sivakarthikeyan had begun shooting for the film earlier in February and the shooting has been progressing at a brisk pace. The film also has Sathyaraj, Naveen Polishetty and Premgi Amaren in important roles, the shooting of the film is being planned to be wrapped up soon.
The makers of the film announced the female lead for the film and tweeted, “A Beautiful Angel has just Landed to Mesmerise. Team #SK20 welcomes actress #MariaRyaboshapka on board as the female lead.” (sic)
The team is currently shooting for the film in Karaikal and the current schedule is expected to go on till the end of March. With only a small portion to be completed after that, the team is expected to wrap up shooting by April, 2022.
Produced under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Films LLP along with Suresh Productions, the film has ‘Beast’ cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa handling the camera with Thaman scoring music for Sivakarthikeyan for the first time.
