Rehabilitation training programme – valedictory function held

The valedictory function of 4 days rehabilitation training programme arranged at Extension Education unit, Organic Farming Research Station Naganahalli was held.  The Staff Training Unit of  University of Agriculture, Bengaluru had organized the programme which has held for 4 days. 

Speaking on the occasion, KS Manoj Kumar, Deputy Director (Training), Abdul Nazir Sab State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, said such training programmes are essential for teachers to get knowledge about the latest developments.  Coordination between several training organizations will make training more meaningful and utilization of resources will be possible.  In future, the Abdul Nazir Sab   State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and University of Agriculture, Bengaluru has entered into an memorandum of understanding for arranging useful training programmes, which will enable farmers to get more information and achieve rural development, he said.

Dr K Shivaram, Training Coordinator, Staff Training Unit, University of Agriculture, Bengaluru, said that for the first time the university has organized this programme outside the headquarters.  The training was successfully completed by utilizing the various resource persons in Mysuru.  Human Resource is very important for any organization.  With only computer and other equipments, development is not possible.  With the development human resources, the organizations can also achieve progress, he said.

Senior Field Superintendent P Prakash presided over the function.

Chief executive Officer, Spoorthi Performance Relief Organisation and Resource Person, Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru, CV Venkateshmurthy, Asst. Profesoor, Narayanareddy, Lecturer and Pramod participated as chief guests.
