Suman Nagarkar to play mother in Rangapravesha

Actress Suman Nagarkar has signed a new movie, Rangapravesha, directed by Yashodha Prakash, who debuts in Sandalwood. The movie is said to have no commercial elements and portrays the bond of a mother and daughter.
Speaking about her role, Suman Nagarkar told us, “I play a responsible mother of a 15-year-old daughter who wants to make a mark as a Bharatanatyam dancer. In achieving her mission, she faces several diversities, and how she copes with the challenges and responds as a mother to fulfill her dream forms the main storyline.” Actors MD Kaushik, Renuka, Basavaraj and writer and lyricist Doddarangegowda will be seen in pivotal roles.
Suman is seen as an ATS officer in the movie Stalker which got rave reviews at the 13th edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival is getting ready to release. She has also got AB positive, SIT and Brahmi in the pipeline.
