Mari Selvaraj’s directorial ‘Maamannan’ starring Udayanidhi Stalin started rolling with a muhurat puja last week. Actor Vadivelu has joined the shooting of ‘Maamannan’ yesterday, and the team has warmly welcomed the actor on the sets as he is making a comeback to cinemas after five years. Vadivelu was spotted in a rural look, and it resembles the partial look of Dhanush in ‘Karnan’, which was also directed by Mari Selvaraj.
The viral pictures have confirmed the untitled film of Udhayanidhi and Mari Selvaraj is set in a village backdrop. Also, the film is expected to deal with a social message like the director’s previous two superhits ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ and ‘Karnan’. ‘Maamannan’ shooting is taking place around the regions of Salem district. Udhayanidhi’s look from the film was revealed after the actor was spotted riding a two-wheeler during the shoot.
‘Maamannan’ is said to be the last film of Udhayanidhi as he will then completely foray into politics.
