Actor Madenur Manu, who rose to fame through a reality show and later made his debut as a lead in Kuladalalli Keelyavudo, has announced his new film on the occasion of his birthday. The movie has been titled Muttarasa and will be produced by K.M. Nataraj under the J.K. Movies banner.
The title launch ceremony was a grand event attended by popular actor Vasishta Simha, veteran artistes M.S. Umesh and Kari Subbu, along with Kannada Film Producers’ Association president Umesh Banakar. All of them extended birthday wishes to Manu and wished success for his new venture. The title was officially unveiled by Padma Shri awardee Manjamma Jogati.
Expressing his happiness, Manu said, I have left behind the unpleasant incidents from my past and feel peaceful now. I am deeply thankful to everyone who supported me during difficult times. Today, as the title of my new film is revealed, I want to thank Vasishta Simha and all the dignitaries for their encouragement. I had earlier acted with Vasishta Simha in Talwar Pete. The title Muttarasa was suggested by director Ram Narayan. Filming will begin next month, and details about the cast and director will be shared soon. By the end of this year, my other film Vicharane will also release.
Producer Nataraj added that Manu had already worked with him in a previous film and that Muttarasa marks their second collaboration. He also thanked the guests for making the title launch memorable.
