‘Avatara Purusha – Part 1’ to release this May

Sharan and Suni’s maiden collaboration, ‘Avatara Purusha’ is finally on its way to a theatrical release. Having endured a significant delay due to the recent spike in Covid-19 cases and the subsequent influx of theatrical releases, the makers of ‘Avatara Purusha’ will now hit the big screens on the 6th of May, 2022. The film will come out as a two-part series with the first installment (or Part 1), titled ‘Ashtadigbandhana Mandalaka’, releasing on May 6th.

‘Avatara Purusha’ is an ensemble comedy film that dabbles with family emotions and black comedy at the same time. The film’s lead cast also includes Ashika Ranganath while Ashutosh Rana plays the baddie in both parts. As revealed by Suni in a prior interview, Rana plays Darka in the film whose character emerges in the first installment but grows in prominence in part 2.
The film’s mega cast also includes Srinagar Kitty, Sai Kumar, Bhavya, Sudharani, Balaji Manohar, B. Suresha, Vijay Chendoor, and others. Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah, who has produced many successful films like ‘Kirik Party’ and ‘Humble Politician’ in the past, has collaborated with Suni and Sharan for the maiden time.
