Triggering a major security scare ahead of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary’s visit, a recklessly driven car fleeing a police security check near Patna knocked down two people late, with police recovering two pistols and 15 live cartridges from the abandoned vehicle, officials said on Tuesday. The incident also sparked public outrage in the area, with angry locals attacking the vehicle in protest and demanding the immediate arrest of the accused, who managed to flee the spot after abandoning the car. We have recovered arms and ammunition from the vehicle. We are conducting raids at several locations to arrest the accused.
