In a swift late-night operation, Hoysala police recovered a mobile phone within minutes after it was snatched near Ambedkar Nagar. The incident occurred around 11.58 pm when a delivery executive was allegedly targeted by a car driver following a road rage altercation. The accused snatched the phone and fled the scene. The victim immediately contacted the emergency helpline 112, prompting quick action from a Hoysala patrol team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Venkataramu and Head Constable Anil Kumar. Police called the stolen number, warned the accused of legal consequences, and secured the phone’s return. Both parties later reached a compromise.
