The Hindi film ‘Jhund’ starring Big B Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role has released in the theatres today, March 4. Actor Dhanush after watching the movie has praised the veteran actor. ‘Jhund’ is directed by Marathi director Nagraj Manjule and this is his first film in Hindi.
Dhanush after watching the film at a private screening yesterday, reportedly stated that it is a masterpiece and added that Amitabh Bachchan acting is outstanding. In the video that is posted on YouTube by the movie makers, Dhanush stated that he was mind blown after watching the full movie. He said that the director’s voice should be heard and added that the film is about the emotion that triumphs everything else. He reportedly stated that watching this film should be an experience that everyone should get and added that the technical aspects of ‘Jhund’ is brilliant. Dhanush also said that the film and the actors in it have stolen his heart and said that he was happy for the entire team.
‘Jhund’ is a biographical sports drama. The film is based on Vijay Barse, a sports teacher from Nagpur who started the NGO Slum Soccer. The movie has received many positive reviews as of now.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is shooting for the film ‘Vaathi’ and ‘Naane Varuven’. He also has a few other projects in pipeline. Soon his film ‘Maaran’ and ‘The Gray Man’ are scheduled to release and directly premiere on OTT platforms.
