After Silambarasan TR, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranita Subhash recently, acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi is latest from the Tamil film fraternity to receive the Golden Visa from the United Arab Emirates. The golden visa is a long-term residence that allows foreigners to live and work in the UAE without the need for a national sponsor and provides full ownership of their business.
The interesting part is the growth of actor Vijay Sethupathi in the last two decades. In 2002, he was working as an accountant in Dubai, and fast forward to 2022, he has received the coveted Golden Visa from the UAE government.
Earlier in December 2021, actor-filmmaker R Parthiepan became the first Tamil actor to receive Golden Visa from the United Arab Emirates. Later, actress Amala Paul, Trisha and Raai Laxmi has also received the Golden Visa and were honoured by the Dubai Government earlier in January.
Meanwhile on the work from, Vijay Sethupathi has recently completed the shooting for Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ in which he plays an important role and has begun shooting for his Bollywood film ‘Merry Christmas’ with Katrina Kaif.
