‘Cobra’ duo Vikram and Ajay Gnanamuthu to reunite

Ajay Gnanamuthu made everyone turn their head with the horror drama ‘Demonte Colony’, which marked his directorial debut. Ajay Gnanamuthu then joined hands with Chiyaan Vikram for ‘Cobra’, and the film has been under production for more than three years. Now, the latest report suggests that ‘Cobra’ duo Vikram and Ajay Gnanamuthu are all set to unite once again. Chiyaan Vikram will be soon commencing the work for his film with Pa Ranjith, which is tentatively titled ‘Chiyaan 61’. After completing the ‘Chiyaan 61’, Vikram has planned to work under Ajay Gnanamuthu once again, and he has been in discussion with the director for it.
Meanwhile, Ajay Gnanamuthu and Vikram’s ‘Cobra’ is yet to be released, and the film’s post-production work has been underway. The COVID outbreak has affected the film as a foreign portion of the film was uncompleted. However, the film shooting was managed to be completed a few months back, and the film is gearing up to release post-June this year. But even before the release of the first film, Ajay Gnanamuthu, and Vikram’s reunion has come as a surprise, and it seems like they have developed a strong bonding while working together for the film.
