If the government has transferred IPS officer Ravindranath for making enquiries about influential persons, it is a big offence, said opposition leader Siddaramaiah.

A senior IPS Officer Ravindranath has resigned.  He was working in Civil Rights Enforcement wing.  His duty is to investigate and take action against those who have obtained fake caste certificates.

He was in the Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement. Their duty was to investigate and take action against those who obtained fake caste certificates. It is reported that, as Ravindranath had undertaken enquiry about a influential person, hence the government has transferred him and Ravindranath himself has given a statement.

Renukacharya had obtained a fake caste certificate for her daughter mentioned as Beda Jangama.  This was discussed in the session also.  Renukacharya is not eligible for getting Beda Jangama caste certificate.  Legal action has to be taken against persons who have obtained fake caste certiicates.  A secured government and people friendly administration cannot exist where there is rampant corruption.  There is a weak and corrupt government in the state. People cannot get justice in such a government, Siddaramaiah said.
