According to authorities on Monday, a madrassa’s management and a teacher were taken into custody here on suspicion of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl student.
The suspects were detained on Sunday night from the Jani Kal cut after the incident, which happened near the Jani police station, they added.

A young girl in class 8 is accused of being sexually molested by both of them. Jani police filed a case against the offender in accordance with the pertinent BNS and POCSO Act provisions based on the victim’s family’s allegation, Singh stated.

The police were informed by the girl’s father that the alleged event happened on October 29. The accused threatened to kill the student as she began to cry. According to the official, the pupil became so terrified that she stopped attending the madrassa.
She stopped going to the madrassa to learn and became quite silent. The two were arrested on Sunday night after the family members filed a complaint at the Jani police station on Saturday, he said. According to the police, the accused were brought before a local court and were placed under judicial detention.
