Manipur and Haryana secured their places in the quarterfinals of the Hockey India Senior Men National Championship on Monday after dominant victories in their final pool-stage matches.
Manipur triumphed with an emphatic 10-0 win over Assam in Pool H, with Laishram Dipu Singh scoring a hat-trick. Haryana also cruised to an 8-0 victory against Mizoram in Pool B, propelled by four goals from Rohit.
Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Hockey also advanced to the quarterfinals, defeating Chhattisgarh 3-1 in Pool A.
The quarterfinals will feature Manipur against Punjab, Haryana facing Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu playing Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha taking on Karnataka. All four matches will take place on November 13.
