Hombale Films, the renowned Kannada production powerhouse behind blockbuster hits like the KGF franchise, Kantara, and Salaar, has announced an ambitious three-film collaboration with Telugu superstar Prabhas. The highly anticipated films are set for release in 2026, 2027, and 2028, with the first in line being Salaar Part 2, directed by Prashanth Neel. This exciting partnership was officially revealed by Hombale Films on Friday, creating waves across the Indian film industry.

Vijay Kiragandur, founder of Hombale Films, expressed his excitement for the collaboration, stating, At Hombale, we believe in the power of storytelling that transcends borders. Our collaboration with Prabhas is a step towards crafting timeless cinema that will inspire and entertain for generations to come. This partnership marks a strategic move by Hombale to solidify its position in the pan-Indian market, especially given Prabhas’ stature as one of the country’s most bankable and beloved stars.

The collaboration with Prabhas, one of the few Indian stars with global box office appeal, underscores Hombale’s commitment to delivering high-quality, pan-Indian cinema. Of India’s top 20 all-time highest-grossing films worldwide, five feature either Hombale or Prabhas, including Baahubali (Parts 1 and 2), KGF Chapter 2, Kalki, and Salaar. This impressive track record of hits has cemented both Prabhas and Hombale’s reputation for creating cinematic experiences that resonate widely.

As Prabhas takes on multiple upcoming projects, including Salaar 2, Raja Saab, Spirit, Kalki 2, and Fauji, his partnership with Hombale Films is expected to yield some of the most anticipated films of the decade. The signing of a three-film back-to-back deal demonstrates a strong commitment from both Hombale and Prabhas to build on their mutual success and deliver high-octane entertainment for years to come.

Hombale Films, originally rooted in Kannada cinema, has evolved into a pan-India production company, creating films across multiple languages. From KGF and Kantara in Kannada to Salaar in Telugu, Raghu Thatha in Tamil, and Dhoomam in Malayalam, the studio has consistently expanded its linguistic and cultural reach. The production house has successfully bridged regional divides, appealing to audiences across India and beyond.

Adding to the excitement, Hombale also confirmed that KGF 3, the next installment in the popular KGF franchise, is already in development. The franchise, which began in Kannada, has become a cultural phenomenon.
