The Telangana government has entered into a partnership with Japanese automotive supplier Denso to foster innovation in India’s automotive sector. This collaboration, aimed at advancing sustainable and advanced automotive solutions, was announced on Wednesday through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Hyderabad.
Denso will work with India’s most innovative automotive startups through T-Hub’s T-Connect platform. The partnership will focus on addressing challenges and driving the development of next-generation automotive technologies. Denso’s leadership will mentor startups, sharing insights on global trends and gaining fresh perspectives on emerging solutions.
Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu emphasized the state’s growing importance in the automotive industry, citing its robust ecosystem of automotive design, semiconductor, and sensor engineering companies. T-Hub’s Interim CEO, Sujit Jagirdar, highlighted the state’s ability to attract global automotive leaders, providing a platform for co-creating solutions tailored to India’s market needs.
Denso’s CEO for India, Yasuhiro Iida, noted that the collaboration will support local talent, offering access to R&D resources and technical expertise to help startups scale successfully.
