Ayodhya

Ayodhya is preparing for its first Deepotsav celebration since the ‘Pran Pratistha’ of the Ram Mandir. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that those obstructing humanity and development will face consequences similar to Uttar Pradesh’s mafia. He praised the transformation of Ayodhya and Kashi as examples of the resurgence of Sanatan Dharma.

During the event, CM Yogi noted that before 2017, Ayodhya lacked basic electricity and criticized those doubting Lord Ram’s existence, saying they were questioning the heritage and identity of the people. Reflecting on previous celebrations, he recalled the crowd’s enthusiasm for building the temple, declaring that the diyas lit symbolized faith in Sanatan Dharma.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat highlighted India’s cultural heritage and global recognition, stating that the establishment of Lord Ram’s temple marks a new dawn for India’s fortune. This year, Ayodhya aims to set a world record by lighting 25 lakh diyas along the Saryu River, celebrating the victory of light over darkness and unity. The festival features vibrant tableaux of Lord Ram’s life, showcasing Ayodhya’s spiritual significance.
