The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday has confirmed that Islamabad Club will host Sri Lanka A’s first-ever tour of Pakistan this November. The tour will feature five matches, including two four-day games and a three-match 50-over series against Pakistan Shaheens.
Sri Lanka A will arrive in Islamabad on November 7 and will have three days of training before the first four-day match begins on November 11. The second four-day game will be played from November 18 to 21, followed by the 50-over matches on November 25, 27, and 29.
The toss for both four-day games will be held at 9 a.m., with the matches starting at 9:30 a.m. The 50-over matches will be day-night games, with the toss scheduled at 1:30 p.m., and play beginning at 2 p.m.
This series will be Pakistan Shaheens’ second home series in three months. In August, they hosted Bangladesh A in a similar series of two four-day matches and a three-match 50-over series.
The PCB emphasized its commitment to nurturing young talent, noting that the Shaheens have had a busy year. Apart from their home games, the team also played in Australia against Bangladesh A and Northern Territory, and took part in the Top End T20 series. Additionally, the Shaheens competed in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Muscat.
