With less than three weeks until the Wayanad Lok Sabha bye-election, Congress candidate Priyanka Gandhi has penned a heartfelt letter to the community. She expressed that after visiting landslide-affected villages, she felt honored to represent them in Parliament.

On Wednesday, Priyanka conducted a large roadshow and submitted her nomination papers for the November 13 bypolls. In her letter, she emphasized her eagerness to learn about the lives and challenges of the people, stating, It would be an honor to understand your experiences and be part of this resilient community.

Recalling her visit to Chooralmala and Mundakkai, Priyanka shared her emotional encounter with families who suffered immense loss. I saw children who had lost everything, yet each person was helping one another, she noted, highlighting the community’s spirit of support and empathy.

Priyanka also reflected on her brother Rahul’s bond with Wayanad, mentioning how he asked her to run as a candidate with both pride and sadness. She promised to strengthen this bond and represent their interests in Parliament.

She views this journey as a partnership with the people of Wayanad, stating, You will be my guides and teachers. As she prepares for this election, Priyanka seeks their support to continue the fight for a better future together.
