Sai Pallavi is excited about the release of her new film, ‘Amaran’, scheduled for Diwali on October 31. In a recent interview, she shared her thoughts on fame and the pressures that come with being in the film industry. She revealed that she turned down advice to hire a public relations agency to increase her visibility, believing it would not add genuine value to her career.
Sai Pallavi explained that she prefers to focus on her work rather than seeking constant media attention. She mentioned a Bollywood acquaintance suggested a PR agency, but she did not see the need, stating, When I do films, I give interviews. Why would I need a PR agency? She expressed concern that too much publicity could lead to public fatigue and diminish interest in her.
In ‘Amaran’, she plays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the widow of Major Mukund Varadarajan, whose courageous life story is the film’s focus. The biopic highlights Major Mukund’s bravery during his service, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, and stars Sivakarthikeyan as the major. Known for her impactful roles, Sai Pallavi chooses challenging characters over quantity, making each project meaningful. The film will be released in multiple languages, further expanding its reach.
