The highly awaited film Amaran, featuring Sivakarthikeyan, tells the story of Major Mukund Varadharajan and is set to release on Diwali, October 31. Early reviews from a special screening in Delhi have been very positive, particularly from army personnel.

The film is generating excitement as it highlights the sacrifices of the late soldier, who was awarded the Ashoka Chakra. With its multi-language release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, Amaran has received a U/A certification from CBFC and has a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film’s music by GV Prakash Kumar is also gaining popularity. With such strong early reactions, Amaran is poised for success at the box office.
