Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Congress General Secretary, is known for her critiques of the government, yet she has made significant investments in public sector unit (PSU) shares. As she runs for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, Priyanka revealed her financial portfolio in an affidavit. It shows she has invested in the stock market, holding shares in 18 different companies, with six being PSU stocks.
Her total stock portfolio is valued at Rs 65,72,012 as of October 18. Out of this, Rs 19,08,875 is specifically in government stocks. Notable holdings include 1,000 shares of IRCON International Ltd, worth Rs 2,21,800, along with 2,000 shares of National Aluminum valued at Rs 4,64,000, and 1,000 shares of NMDC, which are worth Rs 2,31,450. She also has shares in Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Rites Ltd, valued at Rs 4,77,200 and Rs 3,02,800, respectively, along with 500 shares of Railtel Corporation valued at Rs 2,11,625.
Beyond stocks, her investments extend to companies like Usha Martin, Infosys, and Tata Power. Additionally, she holds mutual funds worth Rs 2.24 crore, has Rs 17 lakh in her PPF account, and owns silver valued at Rs 29.55 lakh, along with 4.41 kg of gold jewelry worth Rs 1.15 crore. Priyanka also possesses a farmhouse in Shimla.
