A man has been arrested in Gurugram for allegedly killing his wife by pushing her off a roof. The suspect, identified as Dharam Singh (32), attempted to deceive both his family and the police by claiming she died from a fall.

The incident occurred on the night of October 22, during an argument about drug use. After receiving reports of a woman’s death, police arrived at SGT Hospital Budhera, where they examined the body and ordered an autopsy.

Geeta (28), the victim, was reportedly beaten by Dharam, who is originally from Dausa, Rajasthan. Her father informed the police that she was pushed off the roof of their home in Wazirpur.

Following a complaint, police registered a murder case and arrested Dharam in Garhi Harsaru village. During questioning, he admitted to the crime and initially tried to mislead his in-laws by saying Geeta had slipped. The investigation is ongoing.
