MLA ST Somasekhar launches drainage works

MLA ST Somasekhar announced that the state government is prioritizing grants for rural development. He emphasized that comprehensive development of rural areas is being progressively addressed.

Somasekhar inaugurated drainage works for 14 villages in Kempegowda district, specifically in Challaghat, Hunasemaradpalya, Bettanapalya, and Bhimanakuppe, under the Ramo Halli Gram Panchayat. The project has a budget of Rs 50 crore.

Ramo Halli Gram Panchayat President B.H. Prabhu praised the MLA for his efforts. He highlighted that the Gram Panchayat is actively working to enhance infrastructure and initiate various development projects. The goal, he stated, is to transform Ramo Halli into a model village panchayat.

The event was attended by former president V. Venugopal, vice president G. Mahesh, youth leader Chetan, and other members of the Gram Panchayat, including Kantharaju, Srinivas, Venkatesh, Manjunath, Narahari, and Goo Ranganath. The community’s collaboration aims to foster growth and improve living conditions in the area.
