The actor thanked the team and described the filming process as a ‘wholesome, happy shoot.’ Suriya also shared pictures from the shoot, including a black-and-white photo with the director, which has been widely shared on social media.
In his post, Suriya mentioned that the shoot took place across several locations. He also expressed his appreciation for the talented cast and crew. The collaboration with Karthik Subbaraj was highlighted, with Suriya calling the director a ‘brother for life.’
The teaser of Suriya 44 featured the actor in a retro look, while more recent images show him with a clean-shaven appearance, raising curiosity among fans about the film’s storyline.
The project is being produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. The cast includes Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, and Karunakaran. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music, and Shreyaas Krishna is the cinematographer.
This film marks the first collaboration between Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj. Meanwhile, Suriya’s next project Kanguva, directed by Siva, is set for release on November 14, after being rescheduled from the original date of October 10.
