Three new projects are being launched by the district Tourism Department for the upcoming tourist season. Paramotoring will be introduced for the first time at Kaup Beach, offering a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea. A license has been granted to a private operator to provide paramotoring services at the beach. It is expected that participants will reach heights of 150 to 200 feet. The prices for this activity will be set once the season begins.

Another project, sky dining, will be set up at Trasi Maravanthe Beach. Guests will have the chance to enjoy meals at an altitude of 60 to 70 feet, with views of the beach and river against the backdrop of the Kodachadri hills. The dining area will be supported by a crane and will accommodate up to 16 guests around a central table. People can enjoy their dining experience for about 40 to 45 minutes. The pricing will be finalized soon and will vary depending on the selected menu.

The tourism department is also considering the introduction of solar-powered and electric tourist boats at Padubidri Blue Flag Beach. As this beach is recognized internationally, the implementation of green initiatives is being prioritized. Tenders for the boat services will be issued soon.
