BJP state president responds to challenges, criticizes state govt

BJP State President BY Vijayendra responded to Basavanagowda Patil Yatnal’s separate meeting aimed at changing the party’s leadership. Vijayendra stated that this situation is not new. He mentioned the challenges faced by former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and expressed confidence in overcoming obstacles. He stated that confidence increases when problems arise and emphasized that he will not avoid issues. Vijayendra declared his commitment to bringing the BJP to power with a clear majority.

Vijayendra spoke to the media during a religious program at Samadhana Math in Nelamangala taluk. He also addressed the FIR filed against Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He accused the state government of politically motivated actions.

Regarding the second padayatra about alleged scams in the Congress government, Vijayendra confirmed that no plans are currently in place for a second march to Mysore. He noted the success of the first padayatra and highlighted the MUDA and Valmiki scams. He called for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to resign, stating that he cannot evade responsibility for the MUDA scam. Vijayendra urged that both scams be investigated by the CBI, stressing that accountability is necessary. AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge was mentioned in relation to these allegations, reinforcing the call for the Chief Minister’s resignation.
