PM Modi to launch projects worth Rs 83,300 cr in J’khand

On October 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone, launch, and inaugurate several projects totaling over Rs 83,300 crore in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. This initiative, covering around 63,000 villages in 549 districts across 30 states and Union Territories, aims to directly benefit more than 5 crore tribal people.

As part of the event, PM Modi will launch the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, a scheme focused on improving social infrastructure, healthcare, education, and livelihoods in tribal areas. The initiative, backed by an outlay of Rs 79,150 crore, will include 25 interventions from 17 government ministries and departments.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate 40 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) and lay the foundation stone for 25 more, with a total investment of Rs 2,800 crore. These schools aim to provide quality education and residential facilities to tribal students.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN), PM Modi will launch several projects worth over Rs 1,360 crore. These include constructing 1,380 km of roads, 120 Anganwadi centres, 250 multipurpose centres, and 10 school hostels.

Additionally, key achievements will be highlighted, such as electrifying over 75,800 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) households, establishing 250 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras, and providing clean drinking water in over 5,550 villages through the Nal se Jal program.
