Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has embarked on a six-day visit to the UK and Germany to attract foreign investments ahead of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in February 2025. The CM has sought support from the Indian High Commission in the UK and thanked the Indian diaspora for their warm welcome and encouragement, an official said on Monday.
During his visit, Yadav expressed optimism about Madhya Pradesh’s potential as an industrial hub. “I am deeply grateful for the warm reception and inspired by the insightful discussions on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. Our state has immense potential to become a beacon of economic growth,” he stated.
In London, the Chief Minister held meetings with High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami and UK-based industrial leaders, emphasizing investment opportunities in key sectors like manufacturing, agriculture, and technology. On Tuesday, Yadav will address over 120 UK-based industrialists, inviting them to participate in the GIS and explore business prospects in Madhya Pradesh.
Following three days in the UK, Yadav will visit Germany, focusing on strengthening ties with Bavarian leaders and industrial representatives in Munich and Stuttgart. He aims to promote Madhya Pradesh as a prime investment destination, leveraging Germany’s expertise in technology and innovation.
