Following the success of the mytho sci-fi action film ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ Prabhas has a series of projects lined up, including the highly anticipated film ‘Spirit,’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In this film, Prabhas will portray a police officer, and rumors suggest that Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan may join the cast, potentially in negative roles.
While no official cast members have been announced apart from Prabhas, the inclusion of Saif and Kareena would certainly add intrigue to the film. Currently in pre-production, ‘Spirit’ is expected to be a mass entertainer featuring high-octane action sequences and rich character development, areas where Vanga excels.
Saif Ali Khan is also making his Telugu debut in the upcoming film ‘Devara,’ where he plays the primary antagonist alongside Jr NTR. He has received praise for his performance. Kareena Kapoor was initially set to star alongside KGF’s Yash in the action drama ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,’ but had to exit due to scheduling conflicts.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is working on the comedy-horror film ‘The Raja Saab,’ directed by Maruthi, which is slated for release on April 10, 2025. He will also be involved in ‘Kalki 2898: Part 2’ and ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam’ in the near future.
