A leopard that caused concern in Electronic City has been captured by forest department officials. The animal had been spotted crossing a road in the area, alarming many people. Electronic City is known for its large IT workforce, and the presence of a leopard in such an industrial area raised significant anxiety among residents and employees.
To trap the leopard, three bones were used as bait. After the capture, officials announced plans to relocate the animal to Bannerghatta Biological Park. This move aims to ensure the safety of both the leopard and the local community.
In recent days, sightings of the leopard had created a sense of unease, as many people were unfamiliar with the idea of wildlife in such a developed area. Now that the leopard is secured, the focus will shift to its transport and care at the park, where it can live safely in a more suitable environment.
