The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Maharashtra has reported a hacking incident to the Cyber Crime Branch, claiming that unknown individuals accessed President and DCM Ajit Pawar’s Facebook page and posted inappropriate content. Shivajirao Garje, the NCP’s state General Secretary and Treasurer, has called for a thorough investigation and strict legal action against those responsible for spreading false information using screenshots of the compromised page.

Garje accused the perpetrators of deliberately attempting to tarnish Ajit Pawar’s reputation through fake posts. He suggested that the hacking was a targeted effort to damage Pawar’s image and the NCP’s credibility, especially with the upcoming Assembly elections approaching.

According to Garje, the hacking occurred while Ajit Pawar was actively engaged in his Jan Sanman Yatra, aimed at promoting the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana and other government schemes. The NCP leader believes the attack was meant to undermine Pawar’s efforts and the party’s election campaign, which has been well-received across Maharashtra.

Garje emphasized that Pawar has been traveling extensively for the past month and a half, engaging with the public and advocating for government initiatives. He criticized the hacking as a deliberate attempt to discredit Ajit Pawar amid the positive response to his outreach efforts.
