On Thursday, PM Modi asserted that only the BJP has the capability to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a major BJP rally at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar, he emphasized that his party is committed to fulfilling this promise.

Starting his speech in Kashmiri, PM Modi expressed joy at the vibrant participation of the local people. He praised the significant turnout in recent elections, noting that over 80% voted in Kishtwar, 61% in Ramban, and 62% in Kulgam. He highlighted this as a testament to the growing aspirations of the people and their commitment to strengthening Indian democracy.

Modi criticized the three families Congress, NC, and PDP for allegedly causing the region’s problems through corruption and nepotism. He accused them of keeping the people of J&K deprived of their rights and spreading fear. He claimed these parties failed the youth, causing delays in their education and contributing to the region’s suffering.

He concluded by stating that the BJP is dedicated to bringing about positive change and ensuring the empowerment of Jammu and Kashmir’s people.
