Throughout her two-decade career, Trisha has consistently turned down offers to perform item songs. That’s why her appearance in a song for the recently released film ‘GOAT’ surprised many.
Although not involved in the movie’s storyline, she joined Vijay for a dance number that doesn’t fit the typical ‘item song’ mold. The song quickly became popular, prompting a surge in offers from filmmakers. However, Trisha has no plans to take on item songs regularly. She continues to secure lead roles in major projects and doesn’t want to be categorized in this genre. She participated in the ‘GOAT’ song only because of her friendship with Vijay.
Currently, Trisha is playing lead roles in ‘Vishwambhara’ with Megastar Chiranjeevi and ‘Thug Life’, directed by Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan.
