Amit Anchan, a resident of Mattu in Kote village, Katapadi, has achieved international recognition by entering the International Book of World Records for creating a remarkable steel sculpture of Lord Shiva. The sculpture, which was crafted using around 7,600 steel nuts over a span of three months, has been acknowledged as the Youngest Makes Biggest Sculpture of Lord Shiva in the record books.

Standing at an impressive height of 3.5 feet and a width of 5 feet, the sculpture is a testament to Amit’s dedication and creativity. The son of progressive farmers Laxman and Prameela Mattu, Amit, who holds a diploma in mechanical engineering, initially created a clay model of Lord Shiva before meticulously assembling the 58 kg steel nut sculpture.

His extraordinary achievement has earned praise from Deputy Commissioner K Vidyakumari, who lauded Amit for his innovative contribution to art and craftsmanship.
