BJP state spokesperson Hariprakash Konemane announced that the party will launch campaigns against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi across the state. He criticized Gandhi for allegedly creating a negative image of the Indian government, prime minister, social security, and administration in foreign countries. Konemane also claimed that Gandhi, who presents himself as a protector of Dalits and the poor, spoke in the US about ending reservations in India. The BJP strongly condemned Gandhi’s remarks and is preparing to protest against him.

Konemane emphasized that the BJP will not allow the Congress to fulfill Gandhi’s alleged goal of stopping reservations. He attributed Gandhi’s comments to immaturity and accused him of trying to destabilize India through his speeches both domestically and abroad. He further alleged that Gandhi, after stepping down as Congress chief in favor of Mallikarjun Kharge, was involved in conspiracies with foreign nations like China and Pakistan to ensure a Congress victory in the elections.

The BJP spokesperson also criticized the Congress government in Karnataka, claiming that anti-national and communal forces have gained strength in the state. He highlighted incidents where Pakistan slogans were reportedly heard, and cases against the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) were withdrawn. He also noted that Hindus protesting during the Ganesha festival in Nagamangala were booked by the police.
