The film ‘Amaran,’ starring Sivakarthikeyan, will be released on October 31 for Diwali. The cast has completed dubbing, and the movie is now ready for distribution. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, known for ‘Rangoon,’ ‘Amaran’ is based on the book ‘India’s Most Fearless’ by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
Sivakarthikeyan plays Major Mukund Varadarajan, a late army officer awarded the Ashok Chakra for his bravery during a counterterrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir. Sai Pallavi also has a leading role in the film.
The technical team includes music by GV Prakash, cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, and stunt direction by Stefan Richter. The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures International Productions. ‘Amaran’ will compete at the box office with Jayam Ravi’s ‘Brother’ and Kavin’s ‘Bloody Beggar’ during its release.
