Union Minister Pralhad Joshi criticized Rahul Gandhi for allegedly dishonoring India with ignorant remarks made abroad. Speaking at the city airport on Wednesday night, Joshi condemned Gandhi’s statements, accusing him of auctioning India’s honor and disregarding the constitution and reservation policies.
Joshi held the constitution book while addressing the issue, asserting that Gandhi’s comments were evidence of a disregard for constitutional principles and anti-reservation stances. He accused Congress leaders, including Gandhi, of opposing reservation policies and criticized Gandhi for his remarks about Sikhs and the Election Commission. Joshi stated that the BJP treats Sikhs with respect and emphasized that election transparency in India is unmatched globally.
Joshi also condemned Gandhi’s remarks as insulting to the nation and damaging to its prestige. He defended the BJP’s commitment to reservation and social justice and criticized Congress for historically undermining these principles. He cited past Congress leaders’ statements and alleged that the party has mistreated figures like Ambedkar and Jagjivan Ram while exploiting Dalits and minorities for electoral gains.
Additionally, Joshi expressed concern about an accident during flyover construction, urging the state government to expedite the project. He highlighted the significant grants received by Hubli and Dharwad from the central government with the support of local residents.
