The Rameswaram Cafe bomb blast in Bengaluru has shocked the city. Recent findings from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Karnataka Police have unveiled disturbing details. The NIA charge sheet has disclosed that terrorists had planned an attack on the state BJP office in Malleswaram before targeting the Rameswaram Cafe.
According to the charge sheet, the terrorists initially attempted to plant a bomb at the BJP office. This attack was intended to coincide with the Prana Pratishte celebrations of the Ayodhya Sri Ram Mandir on January 22. The plot failed, leading the terrorists to focus on the Rameswaram Cafe instead.
In response to these revelations, the Home Department has instructed increased security at the BJP office. Metal detectors and additional police personnel have been deployed to ensure safety. Visitors to the BJP office are now required to pass through metal detectors, and local police, including the Malleswaram Police Inspector and Sub-Inspector, have been directed to remain vigilant.
The information about the attack on the BJP office has raised concerns among local BJP leaders and the public. Security measures have been heightened to prevent any potential threats following the failed bombing attempt.
