CM Mohan Yadav announces target of 1.5Cr BJP members

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed BJP office bearers and workers in Bhopal about the party’s upcoming membership drive on Saturday. The meeting took place at booth number 111 in Hindi Bhavan, part of the Dakshin Paschim assembly seat.

CM Yadav announced that the BJP aims to recruit 1.5 crore members through this drive. He highlighted that the campaign is being launched nationwide, with meetings at over 10.5 lakh booths across India, including 64,871 booths in Madhya Pradesh alone. Yadav expressed his enthusiasm for the drive and praised the energy of the party workers.  He emphasized the BJP’s role as both the world’s largest democratic party and a key player in India’s development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yadav noted that the government is focused on welfare for the poor and promoting employment and industry through regional industry conclaves. The BJP’s membership drive, named Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024, is scheduled to begin on September 2 with a launch event in the national capital featuring Prime Minister Modi.
