The Jana Sena party, led by Pawan Kalyan, has continued to target actor Allu Arjun. Tensions between the party and the actor escalated when Ramesh Babu, a leader from Hanuman Junction, Andhra Pradesh, issued a strong warning against the screening of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’
Ramesh Babu stated that the movie will not be allowed to screen in the Gannavaram constituency. He emphasized that no flexis or posters of Allu Arjun’s movie would be put up on December 6, 2024, the scheduled release date of the film. Additionally, he warned that theaters in the region would be prevented from showing the film.
The Jana Sena leader further demanded that Allu Arjun should seek forgiveness by performing a symbolic gesture. He insisted that the actor should wash the feet of megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan and place them on his head. Only then, he mentioned, would the party consider allowing the screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ in theaters, or else, the movie would be completely banned in the region.
Previously, Bollisetti Srinivas, a Jana Sena MLA from the Tadepalli Gudem constituency, had criticized Allu Arjun but later refrained from making further comments. Sukumar directs ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ starring Allu Arjun, and the film is expected to be released on December 6, 2024.
