The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced replacements for pacers Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik, who will miss the opening round of the Duleep Trophy due to illness. Navdeep Saini will replace Siraj in Team B, while Gaurav Yadav will take over for Malik in Team C. Additionally, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been released from the Team B squad.
The Duleep Trophy, which kicks off the domestic red-ball cricket season, features top Indian cricketers and emerging talent. This year’s tournament will start on September 5, 2024, in Anantapur and Bengaluru.
