Darshan case, action against concerned: CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that seven officers have already been suspended in connection with the allegations of giving special treatment to actor Darshan, who is in Parappana Agrahara Jail on charges of murder.
Speaking to media on Monday, he said that there was a lapse on the part of the authorities in the case of Darshan, and 9 people have already been suspended. Action will be taken against some others.
This is a lapse on the level of officials and action will be taken against some others in connection with the case. He said that he has instructed the Home Minister to visit the place and conduct an inspection and appropriate action will be taken based on his report.
He said that a decision will also be taken on whether Darshan should be shifted to another jail or not. We have proven to be pro-people by implementing five guarantees. He replied to a question that Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has no morals to question us. There will be talks with MLAs about dividing the district, which is big, he answered a question from the media persons.
