Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan has joined Legends League Cricket (LLC) just days after announcing his retirement from both international and domestic cricket. Known for his explosive batting and dynamic presence, Dhawan’s move to LLC marks an exciting new phase in his distinguished career.

In a statement, Dhawan expressed his enthusiasm for this new role: Joining Legends League Cricket feels like the perfect next step after my retirement. Although I’m at peace with my decision, cricket remains a core part of who I am. I’m excited to reconnect with former teammates and entertain my fans as we create new memories together.

Dhawan’s career boasts numerous achievements, including being named Player of the Tournament at the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and accumulating over 6,793 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs) with an average of 44.1. His T20I record includes an average of 27.92 and a strike rate of 91.35. Over his career, he played 269 matches, scoring 10,867 runs at an average of 40.
