Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalakar said that the Center has misused the Raj Bhavan by framing a conspiracy-driven agenda against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and giving prosecution by the Governor.
Speaking to media, she said, the government cannot accept the premise of resigning from actions that are part of a political conspiracy. He said that the Congress government and the party have the ability to stand up to such a conspiracy, politically and legally.
The investigation is already underway under the leadership of retired judge Desai. They are misusing the Raj Bhavan before the report comes. It can already be noted that the Governor in the constitutional position has abused his power in other states.
ED, IT, Raj Bhavan are abusing non-BJP state governments. Therefore, there is no need or premise for the Chief Minister to resign, she said.
