Kadamalakunt
A 5-year-old female bear was killed when struck by an unknown vehicle in the Kadamalakunte industrial area on Saturday at 9:00 pm. The incident occurred in Pavagada Taluk.
Forest department officials arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the accident. The bear was found dead at the location and was taken by the officials for further examination.
RFO Rakesh reported that upon receiving information about the bear’s death, he promptly went to the site and initiated the necessary procedures. He also notified higher authorities about the incident.
