On Friday, the Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) seized the property of fugitive narco-terrorist Mohd Liyaqat in Poonch district. The property, located in Khari Karmara and measuring 1 kanal and 9 marlas, was attached following an FIR filed under Section 83 of the CrPC. The Principal Sessions Judge of Poonch authorized the attachment order.

According to officials, this action is part of the ongoing fight against narco-terrorism and follows court directives. The SIA, modeled after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and operating under the J&K CID, is intensifying its search for Liyaqat and probing the networks involved in these illegal activities.
