The Union Budget reflects PM Modi’s vision for a Viksit Bharat, aiming for a future where farmers thrive, the poor live with dignity, the middle class is rewarded for their efforts, and Indian businesses are encouraged. The budget is designed to inspire and support the aspirations of the poor, farmers, and the middle class, aiming to bring prosperity to all segments of society. It highlights nine key areas for the fiscal year 2024-25: improving agricultural productivity and resilience, creating jobs and skills, advancing human resource development and social justice, boosting manufacturing and services, enhancing urban development, ensuring energy security, investing in infrastructure, fostering innovation and R&D, and implementing next-gen reforms.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s seventh budget gives a significant boost to employment, skills development, and agriculture. It includes five new schemes aimed at skilling and employing 4.1 crore youth over the next five years with an allocation of Rs 2 lakh crore.

I recently met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who agreed to prioritize this project. I thank him for the budget allocation supporting this crucial development.
